University Lab extended the longest winning streak in 2A District 7 this week by beating Dunham, 46-17. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Cubs.
Capitol made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,567 from 8,289. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 62-14 victory over Redemptorist last week.
Two highly touted recruits will be in the spotlight when Northeast and University Lab meet this week. The Vikings features well-regarded defensive lineman Leroy Roddy while Chad Mahaffey's team has Nick Brossette, a sought after sophomore.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Episcopal takes on the Lions. As it stands, the Knights are in second, while Capitol is in third.
Damieon Mills' team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 62 points on the Wolves.
