The biggest upset of the week belonged to Terry Sanford, who took down 139th ranked Grays Creek, 28-14.
Douglas Byrd added to the longest winning streak in 3A Conference 12 this week by beating Westover, 47-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.

Leyland McDonald provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Bears lost to the Bulldogs.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Southern Lee's Emond Caldwell and Aaron Blockmon have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-1 quarterback Caldwell has thrown for 1,478 yards this season, while Blockmon has 50 catches for 1,100 yards. Jerry Pullum from Lee County leads the league in rushing with 1,041 yards.
Fans will be thrilled by an exciting game in the secondary when the Cavaliers' Blockmon goes up against Westover's Dequan Crankfield.
Next week's game between Southern Lee and Greg Bryant's team will feature an aerial matchup as Caldwell tests his arm against Crankfield's defensive ability.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Russell Stone's team takes on Union Pines. The Eagles are in first place, while the Vikings are in third place.
