The biggest upset of the week belonged to Serra, who took down 195th ranked Hoover, 34-14. HUNTER CORRELL threw for 195 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
Morse moved up to 313 from 528 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in City. The Tigers were able to make the jump by besting San Diego 48-10.
James McCormick provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Patrick Henry defeated Scripps Ranch. He completed six passes for 213 yards and one touchdown and also ran for 47 yards. McCormick's favorite target this week was Lee King, who caught two passes for 78 yards.
King was the most productive running back in the league this week. In nine carries, he ran for 92 yards as the Patriots defeated the Falcons.
Patrick Henry's McCormick and Jabril Clewis have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. McCormick has thrown for 871 yards this season, while Clewis, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 22 catches for 448 yards. WILLIE MARTINEZ from the Conquistadors leads the league in rushing with 441 yards.
A big matchup in City this week will be when the Cardinals take on Mike Martinez's team. As it stands, Hoover is in third, while the Patriots are in first.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Jerry Ralph's team takes on Patrick Henry. The Cardinals have allowed 103 points this season, while the Patriots have given up 68. Hoover allowed 34 points last week as it lost to Serra.
Morse made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,757 from 6,919. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 48-10 victory over the Cavers last week.
