Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Horizon walked away with it. They blew past the South Lake Eagles 4-1 on Monday. Considering the Hawks have won five games by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit South Lake with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from McKenna McBride (2), Claudia Rodriguez-Medina, and Mackenzie Ruel.

The win made it two in a row for Horizon and bumps their season record up to 6-9. As for South Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-1.

Horizon will challenge Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Forest will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Horizon surely won't give up without a fight. South Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
