The Rowland Raiders lost against the Covina Colts back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Rowland was beaten by Covina 41-7. Rowland has struggled against Covina recently, as their contest on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Covina can attribute much of their success to Joaquin Barragan, who rushed for 86 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Duronslet, who threw for 203 yards and two touchdowns.
Rowland's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Covina, their win was their seventh straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 8-2.
Rowland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Covina is on the road again on November 3rd and play against Summit at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd.
