The Chelsea Red Devils lost against the Lynn English Bulldogs back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Chelsea was dealt a 76-37 loss at the hands of the Bulldogs. Chelsea has not had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Kyle Kemembin was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 14 rebounds for Lynn English. Kemembin hasn't dropped below 15 points for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Denzell Guillen, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Chelsea has not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Lynn English, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chelsea won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Bengals at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd. As for Lynn English, they will head out on the road to face off against the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Revere will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings (they are ranked 276th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 62nd).
