Southeast Halifax has struggled against Wilson Prep recently, as their match on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Southeast Halifax's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Travis Johnson Jr., who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds, and Trayvese Silver who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Silver pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tyrone Williams Jr., who scored six points along with 13 rebounds.
Southeast Halifax has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season. As for Wilson Prep, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with that victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.
Southeast Halifax will take on Rocky Mount Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Rocky Mount Prep's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests. As for Wilson Prep, they will head out on the road to square off against Northampton County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Northampton County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Wednesday.
