Klein is on a five-game streak of home losses, Klein Forest a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Klein Bearkats will take on the Klein Forest Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Klein was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 34-29 to Tomball Memorial. While losing is never fun, Klein can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 345th, while Tomball Memorial is ranked 45th).
Meanwhile, Klein Forest took a serious blow against Tomball last Thursday, falling 45-7.
Klein's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Klein Forest, their loss also dropped their record down to an identical 2-6.
Klein beat Klein Forest 27-14 in their previous meeting back in October of 2022. Does Klein have another victory up their sleeve, or will Klein Forest turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
