Indiana School for the Deaf got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jamiroquai Pickney out in front who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. That's the first time this season that Pickney pulled down eight or more rebounds. Jayden DeFalco was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
Texas School for the Deaf's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Indiana School for the Deaf, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.
Texas School for the Deaf will be playing in front of their home fans against Brentwood Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Indiana School for the Deaf won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Maryland School for the Deaf at 5:30 p.m. on January 12th. Maryland School for the Deaf will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
