Make it nine blowout wins for the Leadership Academy Falcons this season. They breezed by Bethany on the road to the tune of 75-39 on Friday. The victory was just what Leadership Academy needed coming off of a 83-48 defeat in their prior game.
It was another big night for Will Martin, who scored 27 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. He has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Foster, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Leadership Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-10. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 41.3 points. As for Bethany, they are on a 19-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-23.
Leadership Academy will head out on the road to square off against the Bengals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Triad Math and Science Academy is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak. As for Bethany, they will be playing at home against the Villains at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop McGuinness is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.
