Triton Central has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Danville Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Triton Central beat Lawrenceburg 54-47.
Meanwhile, Danville entered their tilt with McCutcheon with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Danville came out on top against McCutcheon by a score of 52-45 on Tuesday. Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to rack up nine more assists than your opponent, as Danville did.
Danville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Addison Davis, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Maddy Wethington, who scored 13 points.
Triton Central's record now sits at 15-5. Danville's record is now 18-3.
Triton Central came up short against Danville in their previous meeting back in December of 2021, falling 67-59. Can Triton Central avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
