The Rawlins Outlaws were the 63-48 winner over the Mountain View Buffalos when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Rawlins fell just short of Mountain View by a score of 46-43.
Lincoln Searle and Jaxson Allard certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Searle scored 15 points along with two steals, while Allard scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. It was the first time this season that Searle scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jose Morales, who scored three points along with seven assists and two steals.
Rawlins now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Mountain View, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rawlins is on the road again on Friday and plays Douglas at 7:00 p.m. on February 16th. As for Mountain View, they will face off against Lovell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lovell will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Mountain View surely won't give up without a fight.
