Porter-Gaud won the last time they faced Cathedral Academy and things went their way on Monday too. Everything went the Porter-Gaud Cyclones' way against the Cathedral Academy Generals as the Porter-Gaud Cyclones made off with a 50-27 win. The Cyclones have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Cathedral Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Madison Jackson, who posted 12 points, and Raven Williams, who had 11 points.

The victory got Porter-Gaud back to even at 10-10. As for Cathedral Academy, they dropped their record down to 6-21 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Porter-Gaud won't have much time to rest: their next game is against First Baptist School at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in First Baptist School's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 12 contests. As for Cathedral Academy, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Charleston Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
