Commack Cougars have officially been named to the 4th Annual MaxPreps Soccer Tour of Champions Presented by the Army National Guard.
This exclusive honor is reserved for only 20 of the best teams in the entire country. Given the fact that 32,000 varsity teams compete, that puts the Cougars ahead of 99.9 percent of their opponents!
In order to be eligible, the team not only had to be nationally ranked, but also had to win a state championship. Beating Fairport 2-0 on Nov. 16 marked the completion of an incredible 22-1-1 season — and earned Commack an invitation to the Tour of Champions.
