The Sandusky Blue Streaks were the 59-41 winner over the Scott Bulldogs when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Sandusky took a 54-40 bruising from the Bulldogs on Wednesday. Sandusky has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Sandusky's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cassidy Stovall, who scored 11 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mae Rameau, who scored seven points along with five assists and five steals.
Sandusky dropped their record down to 8-10 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Scott, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-7.
Sandusky will be playing in front of their home fans against the Fliers at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Clyde focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Wednesday. As for Scott, they will face off against the Spartans at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
