The Durand Railroaders won the last time they faced the Hill-McCloy Rams, and things went their way on Friday too. Durand came out on top against Hill-McCloy by a score of 67-54. The win made it back-to-back wins for Durand.
Durand's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brayden Joslin led the charge by scoring 16 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Those six rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Markell Tate, who scored 11 points along with eight steals and five assists.
Durand now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Hill-McCloy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Durand will be home for the holidays to greet New Lothrop at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New Lothrop and Durand are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. Hill-McCloy will be home for the holidays to greet Byron at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
