The Burlington Cougars won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune  on Tuesday. They were dealt a  77-27 defeat at the hands of Wray. Burlington has struggled against Wray recently, as their  matchup on Tuesday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
  Rodolfo Estrada-Acosta was Burlington's leading scorer, having posted 11 points.  Estrada-Acosta also led the team in rebounds with five.  
 Adan Lopez-Mitchell took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.
  Rafael Trejo was  his usual excellent self,  scoring 22 points along with five  rebounds and three  steals for Wray.  Adonay Gonzalez was another key contributor,  scoring 13 points along with five  steals.
 Burlington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Wray,  the  win  got them back to even at 4-4.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Burlington will take on Simla at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Simla will be coming into the  match with an undefeated record on the line. As for Wray, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Akron at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
