It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Solid Rock Community Sea Shepherds can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Wizards on the road and fell 49-15. Solid Rock Community was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Web of Wisdom apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
Web of Wisdom found their leader in underclassman Taylor Smith, who scored 19 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Smith has scored at least a third of Web of Wisdom's points. Jason Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Solid Rock Community are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 12.5 points per game. As for Web of Wisdom, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.
Solid Rock Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Web of Wisdom, they will head out on the road to face off against Genesis Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
