Waverly Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Hickman County Bulldogs 87-60. One positive for the Tigers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Waverly Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Hickman County, their win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waverly Central will be home for the holidays to greet McEwen at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hickman County, they will welcome Perry County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hickman County is facing Perry County at the right time seeing as Perry County is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
