Bermudian Springs extended the longest winning streak in York-Adams III this week by beating Delone Catholic, 22-7. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Biglerville and York Catholic played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Biglerville eventually emerging with a 21-20 victory.
Littlestown's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Dustin Crouse threw for 10 yards and Nick Hornbrook had 10 yards receiving. On the ground Ryan Rickell chipped in 191 yards.
The Fighting Irish's James Dougherty and Aaron O'Brien have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Dougherty has thrown for 1506 yards this season, while O'Brien, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 19 catches for 465 yards. York County Tech's Calvin Savary leads the league in rushing yards with 934.
Savary of the the Spartans is only 66 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
A big matchup in York-Adams III this week will be when the Canners take on Eastern York. Biglerville is in second place, while the Golden Knights are in eighth place.
Littlestown took down Eastern York 35-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Rickell in the win.
