Salem kept a clean sheet against William Byrd on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the William Byrd Terriers with a sharp 6-0 win. The Spartans have beaten the Terriers the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Terriers has come to flipping the script.

Salem hit William Byrd with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Logan Lavinder (2), Anthony Rugama (2), Elijah Clark, and Graham Cross.

Salem's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for William Byrd, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
