Meanwhile, Mitchell Christian had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Oldham-Ramona/R by a score of 58-45 on Thursday. That looming 58-45 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Mitchell Christian yet this season.
Aiden Lieber continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 38 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it 14 consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Mitchell Christian's points.
Sunshine Bible Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Mitchell Christian, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-11.
Monday's matchup is shaping up to be a scrappy matchup: Sunshine Bible Academy have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 24.8 rebounds per game. It's a different story for Mitchell Christian, though, as they've been averaging only 11.7 rebounds per game. Given Sunshine Bible Academy's sizable advantage in that area, the Golden Eagles will need to find a way to close that gap.
