The Buffalo Bison's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Eldon 63-12. Buffalo was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-6.
It was another big night for Hunter Hees, who rushed for 125 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 286 yards and five touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Hees hasn't dropped below three passing touchdowns for three straight games. Dakota Collins also helped out as he racked up 102 receiving yards.
Buffalo's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 3-6. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 10.2 points per game. As for Eldon, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-7.
Buffalo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Eldon will head out on the road to face off against Ava at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ava will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
