There's no place like home for the Greater Vision Academy Lions, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 72-55 victory over Varsity Opponent on Saturday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Greater Vision Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Titus Tucker, who scored 19 points along with 3 steals. Tucker hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Greysen McCadden was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Greater Vision Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Varsity Opponent, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost 14 of their last 17 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 67-283-3 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greater Vision Academy will challenge South Guilford HomeSchool at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. South Guilford HomeSchool has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 223 points over their last three contests. As for Varsity Opponent, they will head out on the road to face off against Great Hearts Irving at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
