The Corner Yellow Jackets and the Dora Bulldogs squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but sadly the Corner Yellow Jackets had to settle for second. They fell to the Bulldogs 52-47. Corner's loss continues an unfortunate trend for the squad, making it three in a row.
Dora's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maddix Harrison, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Harrison has scored all season. Collin Abrom was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with two steals.
Corner has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Dora, their victory bumped their record up to 11-13.
Corner does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Dora also has no future games currently scheduled.
