The Valley Christian Warriors's three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 35-0 win over Archbishop Mitty. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Valley Christian just coasted through the last quarter.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Valley Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Marcel Leggett, who rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns. Ekiah Mclemore was in the mix as well, providing Valley Christian with two touchdowns.
Valley Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-6. As for Archbishop Mitty, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Valley Christian will head out on the road to face off against St. Ignatius College Preparatory at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Ignatius College Preparatory will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Archbishop Mitty will take on Christopher at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Christopher's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last six games.
