Surrey had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They crushed Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] 56-14. After losing to Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] the last time they met, Surrey decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. This was the first game for both teams, giving Surrey a 1-0 record and starting Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] off at 0-1.
Next week, Surrey take on Tioga at 7:00 PM. As for Benson County [Leeds/Maddock], they will face of against New Rockford-Sheyenne.
