McDonough got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Zora Hill out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 17 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hill has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aniya Dedrick, who scored 18 points along with four steals.
McDonough's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Hampton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McDonough will take on Meadowcreek at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meadowcreek is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. Hampton won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Northeast at 2:00 p.m. on December 9th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Northeast is ranked 410th, while Hampton is ranked 422nd).
