After flying high against Hadley Luzerne  last Friday, Argyle came back down to earth. The Scots fell  3-1 to the Duanesburg Eagles on Friday. If the Scots were looking for revenge after losing  3-1 to the Eagles when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
 The final score came out to 25-15, 25-23, 23-25,  25-23.
 Delainey Bates paced Argyle's offense, picking up ten kills. Bates got some help from  Brooke Austin and her 16 assists. Austin was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with six aces.
Argyle has  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-8 record  this season. As for Duanesburg, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12-2.
As of now, neither Argyle nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
