Baseball Recap: Neshaminy Takes a Loss

Neshaminy had taken Council Rock North down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Skins fell just short of the Indians by a score of 7-6.

Neshaminy saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Bonner, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. The Skins are 4-1 when Bonner posts two or more runs, but 2-3-1 otherwise. Another was Brandon Lall, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Neshaminy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4-1. As for Council Rock North, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6-1.

Neshaminy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Archbishop Ryan at 4:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for Council Rock North, they are taking a road trip to take on Pendleton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
