Wakulla has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Thursday. They will challenge the Chiles Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Wakulla focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Wakulla came up short against Gadsden County and fell 46-36. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Wakulla in their matchups with Gadsden County: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite their loss, Wakulla saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Kyendra Thomas, who scored 13 points along with 8 rebounds and 7 steals, was perhaps the best of all. The match was Thomas' fifth in a row with at least ten points. Amariyah Donaldson was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 13 rebounds and 4 blocks.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Chiles, who are still winless after their fourth matchup. They took a 55-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Munroe on Tuesday.
Their wins bumped Wakulla to 2-3 and Gadsden County to 2-4.
Wakulla might still be hurting after the 47-24 loss they got from Chiles in their previous matchup back in January of 2020. Can Wakulla avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
