The Wayne County War Eagles made easy work of the West Jones Mustangs  on Tuesday and carried off  a  10-1 victory.

 Brianna Hudson made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  a single  earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with four  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run. Those  four  RBI gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Karson Tate was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jaslyn Gandy, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
Wayne County's win bumped their record up to 6-13-1. As for West Jones, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost five of their last six games. That lines up perfectly with their 2-12-1 record  this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wayne County will take on D'Iberville at 2:30  p.m.  on Saturday. As for West Jones, they will venture away from home to  challenge Terry  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their  eighth straight  victory, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight.
