Southwind won the last time they faced Fairley and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Jaguars walked away with an 11-8 victory over the Bulldogs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jaguars.

Stephen Simmons was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing five bases while going 2-for-2. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Shaw, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-1.

Southwind always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .824. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Southwind's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Fairley, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-4.

Looking ahead, Southwind will welcome Middle College at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Jaguars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season. As for Fairley, they will be playing at home against Cordova at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
