In what's become a running theme this season, the Tri-State Christian Crusaders gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They breezed by Providence Christian Academy at home to the tune of 59-24. The victory was familiar territory for Tri-State Christian who now have three in a row.
Jackson Sartin continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points along with five steals and two blocks. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Falko, who scored ten points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.
Despite the defeat, Providence Christian Academy had strong showings from Bryce Unruh, who scored six points along with five rebounds and three steals, and Ethan Burrows, who scored ten points. Unruh is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least three every time he's taken the court this season.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Providence Christian Academy struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Tri-State Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season. As for Providence Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.
Tri-State Christian will head out on the road to challenge Fellowship of Christian Athletes at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Averaging 68.86 points so far this season, Tri-State Christian's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Fellowship of Christian Athletes better be ready for a challenge. As for Providence Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Providence Christian Academy is facing Varsity Opponent at the right time seeing as Varsity Opponent is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
