The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Crespi in their matchups with Notre Dame (SO): they've now lost five in a row.
Despite the defeat, Crespi saw an underclassman step up: Joe Sterling scored 19 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Barnes, who scored 15 points.
Crespi's defeat dropped their record down to 20-6. As for Notre Dame (SO), the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 24-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crespi will challenge Alemany at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Notre Dame (SO), they will head out on the road to square off against Sierra Canyon at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Sierra Canyon is on a 11-game streak of home wins, Notre Dame (SO) a six-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
