Palm Glades Prep Academy extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Barbara Rodriguez. The Palm Glades Prep Academy Eagles simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the BridgePrep Village Green Bulldogs 35-0 for which the team can thank Rodriguez, who threw for 74 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 31 yards. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in passer rating (111.3).

Palm Glades Prep Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Michelle Barahona and Dekencia Hill.

Palm Glades Prep Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for BridgePrep Village Green, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palm Glades Prep Academy will take on Archbishop Carroll at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for BridgePrep Village Green, they will square off against Somerset Academy South Homestead at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Somerset Academy South Homestead's defense has only allowed 14.6 points per game this season, so BridgePrep Village Green's offense will have their work cut out for them.
