Another player making a difference was Gracynn Gough, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Despite the loss, Garinger saw an underclassman step up: Misa Garris scored 21 points. That was a full 70% of Garinger's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Garinger struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Charlotte Catholic racked up 21 assists.
Charlotte Catholic pushed their record up to 19-3 with that win, which was their 11th straight on the road. As for Garinger, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-10.
