The Palisades Pumas lost against the Ardrey Kell Knights back in September of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Palisades' tough 28-3 loss to Ardrey Kell might stick with them for a while. Palisades has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ardrey Kell got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Will Ryland out in front who threw for 262 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Ben Kirsch, who picked up 121 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Palisades has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Ardrey Kell, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.
Palisades does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ardrey Kell will head out on the road to face off against West Forsyth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Forsyth presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Ardrey Kell in North Carolina (West Forsyth is ranked 17th, while Ardrey Kell is ranked 61st).
