The Durham Flight HomeSchool Flight's's game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Friendship Christian and snuck past 29-26. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Durham Flight HomeSchool also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2015.
Friendship Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Claire Perry and Skylar Beaumont. Perry scored 12 points, while Beaumont scored 11 points.
The victory got Durham Flight HomeSchool back to even at 1-1. As for Friendship Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Durham Flight HomeSchool's road trip will continue as they head out to face Forsyth Home Educators at 6:15 p.m. on December 11th. As for Friendship Christian, they will square off against Wayne Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wayne Christian will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
