On Thursday, the Christ School Greenies faced the Moravian Prep Lions in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Christ School came out on top against Moravian Prep by a score of 70-61. The win was familiar territory for Christ School who now have three in a row.
Christ School's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Madden Collins led the charge by scoring 23 points. Collins also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Zymicah Wilkins, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds.
Christ School's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Moravian Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 15-1.
Christ School and Myers Park will face off at 8:00 p.m. on December 30, 2023 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Myers Park has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 586 points over their last nine games.
