Attica extended their losing streak  to eight  on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 4-15-1 in the process. They lost  11-0 to the Riverton Parke Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  12-3  on Saturday.
As for Riverton Parke, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.5 runs over those games.
For Riverton Parke's part,  Karson Stark looked comfortable as he  pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Stark has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Collett Sanders, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Chase Bennett, who  went 1-for-2 with two  runs and one  stolen base.
