The Ridgeview Panthers fell victim to the Fort White Indians''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They had to suffer through a rough 45-0 loss at the hands of the Indians. While losing is never fun, Ridgeview can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 417th, while Fort White is ranked 143rd).
Dakota Fisher was on fire for Fort White: he rushed for 188 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries. Fisher was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 56 yards. Jayden Jackson also helped with two touchdowns in total.
This is the second loss in a row for Ridgeview and nudges their season record down to 1-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 6.0 points per game. As for Fort White, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.
Ridgeview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fort White is also done with their season.
