Meanwhile, Prairie View's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by Iola on the road and fell 70-40. Prairie View was down 58-31 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Burlington's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Prairie View, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-12-1.
