Elmwood won the last time they faced Princeville and things went their way  on Thursday too. The Trojans walked away with  a   2-0  win over the Princes. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 8, 2021, but that streak is no more.

 Cheyenne Burge paced Elmwood's offense, picking up five kills. Burge got some help from  Payge Ryan and her 14 assists.  Wren Kellenberger controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Elmwood's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Princeville, their defeat was  their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 2-9.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elmwood will square off against ROWVA/Williamsfield at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Princeville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Henry-Senachwine  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
