The Randolph Cardinals will square off against the Crest Chargers at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Randolph took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Brocton as they made off with a 9-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won nine in a row.

Aliza Hind was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Grace Arnold-Hill, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Another player making a difference was Aryana Sears, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3.
Randolph hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brocton struck out 14 times.
Meanwhile, Crest was able to grind out a solid win over McDowell on Tuesday, taking the game 5-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargers.
Aidan Ledbetter spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on eight hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
At the plate, Hayden Lail was incredible, firing off two home runs while going 2-for-3.
Crest pushed their record up to 14-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.1 runs over those games. As for Randolph, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Monday. Randolph hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like Crest struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.6 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
