On Thursday, The Nandua Warriors got themselves on the board against the Washington Jaguars, but the Washington Jaguars never followed suit. They breezed by the Jaguars on the road to the tune of 33-0. Winning may never get old, but Nandua sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Eli Parker went supernova for Nandua, rushing for 93 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries, while also picking up 61 receiving yards.
Nandua's victory bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Washington, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nandua will face off against Northampton at 6:15 p.m. on November 3rd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Virginia (Northampton is ranked 320th, while Nandua is ranked 296th). As for Washington, they will head out on the road to face off against Cambridge-South Dorchester at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Cambridge-South Dorchester's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Washington has been banged up by ten consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
