On Tuesday, the Tulpehocken Trojans's game was all tied up 32-32 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Hamburg and snuck past 53-50. This was payback for Tulpehocken, who suffered a 71-63 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Among those leading the charge was Aidan Schwalm, who scored 23 points along with 8 rebounds. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Matias, who scored 10 points.
Tulpehocken's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Hamburg, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tulpehocken will take on Daniel Boone at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hamburg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pequea Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
