Riverside had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They never let the Westside Warriors get on the board and left with a 13-0 win. That looming 13-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Rebels yet this season.

Riverside's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Westside, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverside will welcome Woodlawn at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Woodlawn 2.5, Riverside 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Westside, they will host Highland at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Highland knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Westside likes a good challenge.
