North Pointe Prep put the finishing touches on their 6th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They put a hurting on Scottsdale Preparatory Academy to the tune of 52-14. No one put up better numbers for North Pointe Prep than senior Joe Soriano-Garfias, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 330 yards and 4 touchdowns. Soriano-Garfias has now scored at least one touchdown in the past seven games.
Meanwhile, Red Rock came up short against Veritas Prep, falling 20-33. This makes it the second loss in a row for Red Rock.
North Pointe Prep's win lifted them to 6-1 while Red Rock's defeat dropped them down to 2-5. We'll see if North Pointe Prep's success rolls on or if Red Rock are able to steal their positive momentum.
