The Glendale Falcons will be playing at home against the Lebanon Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Glendale has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 387 points over their last five games.
Glendale pushed their score all the way to 75 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 87-75 hit to the loss column at the hands of Central. While losing is never fun, Glendale can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 58th, while the Bulldogs are ranked sixth).
Even though Lebanon has not done well against the Bulldogs recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Lebanon skirted past the Bulldogs 58-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Lebanon got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Noah Boggs out in front who scored 17 points. Boggs is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Caleb Ray was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.
Glendale's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Lebanon, their victory bumped their record up to 14-7.
Glendale beat the Yellowjackets 65-58 in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Does Glendale have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Yellowjackets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
